UFT educational services expanded into cyberspace in November by offering a child abuse reporting and recognition course accessible from a computer with a modem and a telephone line. UFT members gave the course rave reviews and appreciated the convenience of taking the course without having to travel to remote sites.
So far 32 members earned certificates of completion and 24 registered to take the course in January.
